Madinat Ronda Tours

This phrase is still used today to refer to Ronda. It paraphrases the Austrian poet Rainier Maria Rilke, who claimed that the city appeared to him in a dream. Countless peoples have passed through Ronda: from the Celts to the Nasrids, through the Iberians and Romans; and from the Catholic Monarchs to Napoleon Bonaparte.
